Hi, I’m Michele.

I grew up as a competitive tennis player. My daily life revolved around intense control of my body and food. This worked for me until it didn’t and I started to have nagging injuries. My body became the problem.

I noticed that the more I tried to solve the “problem”
of my body with diet and exercise, the more damage I did to my body physically and emotionally.

I turned to alternative modalities like Pilates and Yoga as ways to rehabilitate my injuries. Kelly Kane, one of my biggest influences, taught me to feel my own anatomy and use that as my guide. At her studio, I immediately noticed that there were no mirrors. There was no way to check if I was “doing it right.” I had to change from an outward, performance-based focus to an inward focus.

The more I developed skills for listening to my body, the more I was able to use those same skills to listen to my emotions. Over time I learned that the most healing thing for me was the integration of my emotional and physical selves.

My desire is to help others gain a sense of
integration for themselves.

I use the following modalities to support people in this work:

  • Pilates

  • Trauma-Informed Coaching

  • Nervous System Repatterning for Injury rehabilitation

  • Compassionate Inquiry

  • Therapeutic Yoga

  • Motivational Inquiry

  • Body Trust

  • Breathwork

I have become the coach that I always wish I had.
I aim to be a gentle guide that can hold the lantern for you and support you as you seek a new path.
